Commodity; a review on gender neutral Fragrances

I truly appreciate the evolution of the fragrance industry. One bottle can now cater to everyone, eliminating the need for gender-specific scents.
Don't get me wrong; I still enjoy a distinctly feminine fragrance designed just for women. There remains a distinction between scents that are distinctly masculine or feminine. It's a matter of personal preference, much like Commodity Fragrances.
The intensity of the scent varies, and this influences its appeal based on gender. Personally, I discovered that the Moss Personal scent was perfect for me, featuring a beautiful aroma of Bergamot and Oakmoss. On the other hand, the Moss Bold version was more intense and suited my husband perfectly. He adored it, as it had stronger notes of Juniper Berry and Amber.

Commodity design three different intensity levels, called a scent space.
· Personal; a soft, subtle scent. That is close to you and those close for you to allow. The concept of less.
· Expressive; Not overpowering but still noticeable to those around you. Making it longer lasting.
· Bold; For an intense, noticeable scent. One that can be noticed by many.

I do have all three scent spaces in many different scents. One that stands out to me and is probably a favourite of mine is Paper Bold. It is earthy, with top notes of Vetiver, wet woods and ISO E Super. Commodity describe this one as ‘reminiscent of mossy woods after rain’. Gosh, it’s one of my most favourite scents of all!
It truly envelops you in the seasonal atmosphere of strolling through the woods after a morning of light, gentle rain. You're wearing a knit sweater with a perfectly lightweight jacket, feeling a breeze on your face that softly delivers a warm, embracing sensation. Breathing in that fresh air of mossy woods.
While Paper is among my favourites, I also adore the other scents. If you're interested in learning more about them, don't hesitate to leave a comment or send me an email.
